Troy Gentry, who was part of the popular country music duo Montgomery Gentry, was killed Friday in a helicopter crash in Medford, N.J., where the group was to play that night. He was 50. The crash took place before 1 p.m. ET in Medford, according to the statement. The helicopter's pilot also was killed, authorities said.
