Arjun Rampal's latest film Daddy deals with the life and times of Mumbai-based gangster Arun Gawli who is currently serving a life sentence. Arjun Rampal and filmmaker Ashim Ahluwalia collaborated for the first time for this ambitious film on Gawli. From the first poster itself, one thing was clear - that Arjun Rampal had got the look right and that's one of the most important things in a biographical film.

The official teaser of the film was released on December 1, 2016. The trailer of the film was released on June 13, 2017, and the movie premieres this September 8 2017 in Indian theatres.
