Jimmy Carter Suffers Brain Cancer with Strong Show of Courage

The former president of the United States, Jimmy Carter reveals that he had melanoma which spread from his liver to his brain. The nonagenarian was quite courageous at the face of his health condition. "I'll be prepared for anything that comes," he said. The bold-smiling ex president of USA is currently being treated with a new but potent cancer drug known as Keytruda. "It's really a whole new class of therapy, and as president Carter said, it really allows our own immune system to fight a cancer," said Dr. Wally Curran of Emory University, an expert in brain tumors who is not involved in Carter's treatment.  Cancer experts said that while Carter would not be cured of his cancer with the therapy, he would not be too sick even at 90.

Pyongyang Braces for War Against South Korea

Pyongyang declares a "semi-state of war" after exchange of shell fire with Seoul. By this declaration, Kim Jong-un, the North Korean leader ordered his frontline troops to be on war footing. Previously, Pyongyang gave Seoul an ultimatum to end their loudspeaker propaganda against them at the border. They threatened that at the expiration of the ultimatum, that they would respond with full military action. The ultimatum is due on Saturday by 5:00 pm. South Korea restarted their loudspeaker campaign after 11 years; after her soldier was injured from a landmine in the demilitarized zone and which North Korea was responsible. North Korea in response restarted their own but a report said that the quality of the North Korean loudspeakers was so bad that it was difficult to understand what they were saying; and then came the ultimatum.

Mikel Obi Ignores Sunday Oliseh in England

Sunday Oliseh, the Super Eagles of Nigeria Chief Coach told that Mikel Obi snubbed him in England. According to him, he traveled to Europe to meet with foreign based players ahead of the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Tanzania. He told that while in England which coincided with the end of Chelsea tour before they played Arsenal, he called Mikel's line which rang severally and nobody picked; and then, he sent him text message and no response was received so far. But when he called Victor Moses the phone rang three times and he picked it up and he spoke with him. Moses even visited him in his hotel after their match. The chief coach expressed his readiness to everybody along in the team and as such lamented this unwholesome behaviour by Mikel.
