Curfew Enacted by Cities in Texas in Respect of Hurricane Harvey is Trending in USA

The enactment of the curfews is one of the safety and security measures against the Hurricane Harvey that struck since August 25. The cities that have so far enacted curfew include: South Houston, Webster, League City, Friendswood and Pasadena. People in these areas were advised to stay of the road as there might be high waters. It was also gathered that criminal-minded individuals have started exploiting the needy condition of the residents, claiming to be Police but with the criminal intention such as looting. People against this development were advised to be cautious of whom they open door for, who claims to be Police. According to Patch.com, Since Hurricane Harvey made landfall on Aug. 25, the Houston Police and Fire departments have participated in more than 3,500 rescues.

Below are the cities and the span of their curfew:

South Houston: 10 p.m. to 6 a.m.
Webster: 10 p.m. to 6 a.m.
League City: 10 p.m. Sunday through 6 a.m. Monday
Friendswood: 10 p.m. to 6 a.m.
Pasadena: 10 p.m. until 7 a.m. until further notice
