Ruth Bader Ginsburg Condemns Colin Kaepernick for Disrespecting America

Ruth Bader Ginsburg's slam against Colin Kaepernick is trending in America.

The US Supreme Court Justice who is known as the Notorious R.B.G, especially due to his stance in the US Apex Court as the defender of the minorities rights, took her numerous fans aback when he criticised Colin Kaepernick who refused to stand up in honour of the US Anthem and the Star Spangled Banner in the Court.

“It’s dumb and disrespectful,” US Supreme Court justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg said recently about Colin Kaepernick’s refusal to stand during the national anthem.

Colin Kaepernick began his protest in August, saying he would not stand during "The Star Spangled Banner" until racial injustice in America was appropriately addressed.

"I am not going to stand up to show pride in a flag for a country that oppresses black people and people of color," Kaepernick told NFL Media at the time. "To me, this is bigger than football and it would be selfish on my part to look the other way."

Many see the Ruth Bader Ginsburg's criticism as inconsistent with what she believed in and defended overtime.
