The Sex Harassment Suit Against Roger Ailes by Gretchen Carlson is Trending

The chairman of Fox News was brought to bad light by a law suit filed by his female employee and a prominent anchor in the company. The anchor in the law suit described Mr. Ailes as loutish and a serial sexual harasser. She said that she made sexual advances to her in a meeting in his office; and often times called her "sexy."

She claimed that her refusal to yield to the amorous advances made the most revered media Iroko to cut down her salary, air appearance and eventually the renewal of her contract with the company.

In reaction, Mr. Ailes denied the accusation and described it as a defamatory retaliation to the company's refusal to renew her contract due to her "low rating." He said that he would defend it vigorously.

Fox News admitted being aware of the suit and promised an informed investigation into the accusation.

Gretchen Carlson, 50, who joined Fox News in 2005, was the host of an afternoon program, “The Real Story With Gretchen Carlson. Ms. Carlson, filed her lawsuit in Superior Court in New Jersey, where Mr. Ailes maintains a residence.
