In reaction to the annual US-South Korea military exercise scheduled for August 17 to 28, North Korea has threatened fire and brimstone that it would be nothing shot of an all-out war if Seoul did not cancel the plans and also stop her anti Pyongyang campaign along their joint border.
North Korea condemned the exercise and called it a war rehearsal.
An unnamed spokesman for the National Defense Commission in North Korea threatened to take "the strongest military counteraction."
He bragged:
"The DPRK (Democratic People's Republic of Korea) is the invincible power equipped with both the latest offensive and defensive means unknown to the world, including nuclear deterrence."
