Breaking News! Fuel Tanker Goes Up in Flames in Awka Metropolis

Breaking News! Fuel Tanker goes up in flames when it swerved from the road and fell into the bush around Uzu Awka Junction at about 6 pm, today.

The driver was burnt into ashes while his conductor was mortally burnt. A lorry parking along the scene also caught fire and burnt up.

The fire proved very stubborn to the efforts by the fire fighters whose full tanker exhausted without any impact.

Awka metropolis at about 6pm was made gloomy by the thick fumes that exuded from the inferno.

This accident regrettably occurred around the scene of accident barely 2 weeks ago where a family was wiped off when a trailer climbed their Toyota Camry car.
