While away in Saudi Arabia on a
condolence visit with Barrack Obama, the US president, the Secretary of State,
John Kerry was fined $50 for not shoveling his Boston home, the blizzard that left over 2 ft. snow in Massachusetts
penultimate week.
The fine came when a snow
removal company found a yellow tape alongside the side walk and thought it was
related to security for the top U.S. diplomat. They left the area un-shoveled.
On the contrary, Kerry’s
spokesperson said that the tape was a warning to pedestrians warning against
falling ice.
"Once they understood that
they were allowed to enter the area, the contractors finished the sidewalk late
Thursday morning," he said.
Be that as it may, a source said that the fine still stands as law recognizes no excuse.
