Another suicide bomber hits Potiskum, Borno State, Nigeria; killing no fewer than five persons. An eyewitness accounted that over 19 persons sustained various degrees of injuries.
This particular attack occured in a densely populated market even as the Nigerian Army claimed that the insurgents were on the run after a fierce operation that led to the recapture of the insurgents' occupied town of Baga in the state.
Could one safely conclude that the purported reclaiming of territories by the Army holds any truth in it at the face of this attack?
What would be the future of the March 28 and April 11 rescheduled elections?
