Cholera Hits Bayelsa State Killing At Least 21

Cholera ravages Bayelsa State and 21 persons are reported dead. Osima and Ekede communities in Sagbama and Southern Ijaw local government areas of Bayelsa State were the worst hit.  Residents have been thrown into panic and deep fear of the highly communicable disease.

US to Deny Visa to Any Fleeing Aspirant that Would Cause Violence in Nigeria's 2015 Election

Amidst of fears and predictions of violence after the 2015 polls, the US Secretary of State, John Kerry says that US would deny visa to anybody that would forment trouble in the forth-coming election in Nigeria; an election which he described as going to be the largest in the continent. He made the statement after meeting with the presidential candidates of PDP and APC, President Goodluck Jonathan and Muhammad Buhari respectively. 

Arrested for the Murder of Funsho William, the Cemetary Attendant Cries for Justice

  Funsho Williams   It is a cry for justice as justice delayed is justice denied. One Bashir Junaid, a cemetery attendant in Lagos arrested as a suspect on the murder of the Lagos State guber aspirant in 2007, Funsho Williams has prayed the Federal High Court, Lagos to grant an order of Mandamus ordering the Inspector General of Police to reopen investigations into the murdered.

Okorocha to the Igbos in the North, Don't Leave

In view of the anticipated crises that might tail the outcome of the 2015 election in Nigeria, many Easterners living in the North have started going home. In reaction to the development, the Imo State Governor, Owelle Rochas Okorocha advised the Igbos to stay put that there was no cause for control as everything is under alarm; LOL.  He assured that the election will be peaceful. The only condition that he believed could make any Igbo to go home should be to vote at home.

TransAsia Plane Crashes into a River Killing 31 Persons

Flying is getting nastier in the later days. This is my belief as planes continue to crash over and over again especially in Asian continent. Another plane crash has struck Asia as a TransAsia, ATR-72 turbo-prop plane crashed into the Keelung River just after it took off from Taipei, Taiwan.

Jordanians Vowed to Avenge the Blood of Lt Kassasbeh which the ISIL Burned Alive

Lt. Moaz Kassasbeh who was captured 24 th December 2014 might have been killed in a new video footage released by Islamic State of Syria and Levant group (ISIL). The 26 year old Jordanian was captured when his plane came down in a raid against the fundamentalists. The news of the barbaric act by the ISIL shocked Jordanians and many took to the street vowing to avenge the blood of the hero.
