Arik Air is Recruiting for Three Vacancies


Arik Air is a Nigeria based airliner. They are looking for suitably qualified "team players" to fill the following vacancies in their company:

1. Job Title: Head-Internal Audit

Location: Lagos

Responsibilities: The successful candidates must among other things direct the overall operations of the Internal Audit department on behalf of the Board Audit Committee and the Management.

Qualification: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related discipline; MBA or postgraduate degree is an added advantage.

Experience: A minimum of 10 years’ experience at a senior level in auditing and/or accounting functions within aviation or a Big 4 environment.

2. Job Title: Company Lawyer (Secretary)

Location: Lagos (Head Office)

Responsibilities: Successful candidates must among other things prepare and draft constitutive instrument of Arik Air and its subsidiaries as well as the internal regulations.

Qualification: A graduate of Law or related field; a postgraduate degree is an added advantage.

Experience: A minimum of 10 years work experience, preferably in the Aviation Industry of which at least 5 years must have been in heading the Legal Affairs.


3. Job Title: Vice President (VP), Finance

Location: Lagos

Responsibilities: Successful candidate must among other things manage the general ledger and prepare monthly financial statements and forecasts.

Qualification: Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting required. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Financial Analyst (CFA) desirable. Master's Degree in Finance or Accounting preferred.

Experience: A minimum of 15 years of combined accounting and finance including at least 10 years of experience with planning, compliance and reporting activities associated with a publicly-held company. Experience working with a multinational corporation is strongly preferred.
