Blizzard hits America and Britain. The blizzard,
the first in 2015 continued from USA to New England until Tuesday. It featured
heavy snow and 35 mph wind.
National Weather Service of
Britain dropped all blizzard warnings for the Winter storm, Juno when on
Tuesday, Juno hit Long Island and New England with heavier snow.
Several locations in USA
including Rhode Island, Massachusetts and Connecticut recorded high snow with
Massachusetts having as high as 36 inches snow.
The winter storm was named by winter
storm naming committee at The Weather Channel on Sunday morning after the
goddess, Juno of the Greek mythology who looked after women of Rome.
