Two Office Rugs in Pinellas County (Fla.) Reads "In Dog We Trust"

Instead of “In God We Trust,” two new rugs featuring the Pinellas County (Fla.) Sheriff's Office emblem at the agency's new administration building read, “In Dog We Trust,” by mistake.

This sat at the thresholds unnoticed for two months!

The bright green and yellow emblem is supposed to read "In God we trust," but a major typo was discovered this week by a security guard.

A spokesperson for the sheriff's office said the mistake was made by the rug manufacturer, which had been notified and was correcting the error.

The rugs cost $500 each and were removed from the new $81 million administration building Wednesday.

Do you believe the error theory?
