An Indonesian Airliner, Trigana Air Plane Crashes in Papua


An Indonesian Airliner carrying 54 passengers crashes in remote side of Papua. The Trigana Air flight which took off from Sentani airport in Jayapura at 14:21 and headed to the town of Oksibil lost contact with the ground before the crash.

The crash site was discovered by the villagers who informed the authorities. It is still unclear if there were survivors while the families of the passengers waited for news about their loved ones.

Asian continent has suffered serious plane crashes last year including the still missing MH370 and the AirAsia Airliner that crashed into the Java Sea.

After four Indonesian Airliners, others are in the EU blacklist of banned carriers.
