Miley Cyrus sexuality is trending in America.
Miley Cyrus in a new interview with Variety said that she feels "very neutral" about her gender and sexuality.
Explaining "I don't feel straight and I don't feel gay," Cyrus, who identifies as "pansexual," added that for a long time, she was confused about what that meant.
What is pansexuality?
Pansexuality, or omnisexuality,is the sexual attraction, romantic love, or emotional attraction toward people regardless of their sex or gender identity. Pansexual people may refer to themselves as gender-blind, asserting that gender and sex are insignificant or irrelevant in determining whether they will be sexually attracted to others.
In the words of Cyrus, 23, "My whole life, I didn’t understand my own gender and my own sexuality. I always hated the word 'bisexual,' because that’s even putting me in a box. I don’t ever think about someone being a boy or someone being a girl," she said. "My eyes started opening in the fifth or sixth grade. My first relationship in my life was with a chick."
