Jimmy Carter Suffers Brain Cancer with Strong Show of Courage

The former president of the United States, Jimmy Carter reveals that he had melanoma which spread from his liver to his brain. The nonagenarian was quite courageous at the face of his health condition.

"I'll be prepared for anything that comes," he said.

The bold-smiling ex president of USA is currently being treated with a new but potent cancer drug known as Keytruda.

"It's really a whole new class of therapy, and as president Carter said, it really allows our own immune system to fight a cancer," said Dr. Wally Curran of Emory University, an expert in brain tumors who is not involved in Carter's treatment.

Cancer experts said that while Carter would not be cured of his cancer with the therapy, he would not be too sick even at 90.
