No Report of Injury has Come from the 4.0 Magnitude San Francisco Bay Area Earthquake

No Injury so far has been reported from the 4.0 magnitude seismic activity in the bay area in San Francisco. The epicenter was two miles from Emeryville, Calif., three miles from Oakland, three miles from Berkeley and 64 miles from Sacramento; the US Geological Survey says.

People described the earthquake as like a cracking of a tree limb that lasted few seconds which caused minor shaking. The temblor appears to have occurred along the Hayward fault, which experts have long said could produce a devastating quake and which has been the source of Fremont quake in July.
