Arrested for the Murder of Funsho William, the Cemetary Attendant Cries for Justice

Funsho Williams

It is a cry for justice as justice delayed is justice denied. One Bashir Junaid, a cemetery attendant in Lagos arrested as a suspect on the murder of the Lagos State guber aspirant in 2007, Funsho Williams has prayed the Federal High Court, Lagos to grant an order of Mandamus ordering the Inspector General of Police to reopen investigations into the murdered.

The suspect claims that he suffers unjustly; hence, his decision to cry out for justice.
Political commentators joined voices with him saying that the case should be opened even together with that of MKO Abiola’s murder.

These two cases constitute top notch political assassinations in Nigeria. The mysteries beclouding the dastardly acts remain unsolved.
